Belinda Walsh
Belinda Walsh is the Director and founder of Sober Living Rehab. She has worked in the field of addiction since 1986 as a counsellor, intervention specialist and the CEO of public and private treatment facilities. Belinda Walsh is a USA Certified Intervention Professional and a registered trainer.
Belinda continues to train in the USA to provide current and relevant programs for those that suffer from the effects of addiction including family. Belinda is passionate about early intervention and prevention where possible and continues this work through Community Forums, Program development, facilitation of training programs and Family Workshops.
Belinda has been touched by addiction and has experienced devastating consequences when following the advice of well-meaning professionals to “wait for the addict to hit bottom.” There was no support for her family and no relevant programs at the time for her brother. Belinda has since dedicated her life to helping others who are affected by this deadly disease to intervene before its too late. Belinda is also Director of Alcohol and Drug Help where she specialises in supporting families when their loved one remains in denial to get them into treatment through Intervention.
