SOBER LIVING REHAB
The Sober Living Rehab experience begins with a comprehensive assessment to determine the appropriate treatment plan for each individual or work place. If admission is for addiction treatment, we make safe plans for detoxification, either by referring individuals to an external detoxification service, or by facilitating and supporting a home detox in collaboration with our GP who has expereince in addiction treatment
Our Rehabilitation program provides a foundation for clients to build a solid support group for themselves and healthy, safe relationships with their peers whilst working on rebuilding relationships with family members where possible.
Our Sober Living Program and rehab allows clients time to develop the necessary skills to rebuild their lives and help focus on recovery as a way of life.
Abstinence is just the beginning,
-
healthy and continuous sobriety requires many significant changes.
-
In this atmosphere of mentorship without judgement, loving care, accountability and family involvement in treatment plans,
-
the disease of addiction begins to lose its grip on life.
Rehabilitation and Recovery
At Sober Living Rehab we provide a unique and positive experience for individuals transitioning back into the world with a new way of living. Our staff is trained to understand the impact of addiction on indivduals and their families. We address childhood trauma, emotional dysregulation, and pre-exsisting mental health issues through evidence-based therapies. We focus on the issues before self-medication with substances or process addciotions. We believe that addicts can recover when they address their underlying wounds and relapse can be avoided.
Our goal is to prepare our clients to make a healthy transition back to life with hope and direction. At Sober Living Rehab we focus on maintaining physical, behavioural and emotional sobriety with a structured program offering addiction education, process groups, family groups, family workshops and consultations, counselling and referral for Psychiatric review when required and immersion into the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous /Narcotics Anonymous /Gamblers Anonymous.
What WE Know
Personal experience tells us that the primary reason for relapse is that after traditional treatment the addicted person returns to the same people, places and things that fueled their addiction in the first place. The ability to relocate and to live with other people in recovery has been proven to work. For clients that have limited life skills we would also encourage our Life Skills Program whilst living in this safe environment to have a balanced life in recovery.
